Planning a wedding can be one of the most stressful times of your life! There is just so much to think about. From finding the right wedding venue and the perfect dress, to selecting a colour scheme, organising the bridesmaids, booking the caterers, the band, the car, the florist, and trying to appease Aunt Urma by not seating her with Aunt Betty. The last thing you’ll probably consider, is dressing the tables. Table dressings are an entirely new ball game and must be aesthetically pleasing but also functional. Then the very very last thing (ie. the bit you’ve forgotten to even think about) is your wedding favours. What do you give to your guests as a thank you for sharing your special day, whilst also not breaking the bank after you’ve already put everything into creating this once in a life time experience?
That is where I come in 🙂
What if I told you that you can dress your table in a beautiful AND functional way by complimenting your colour scheme and keeping everyone happy? What if I also told you that you can kill two birds with one metaphorical stone by combining your place names and your wedding favours in one purchase? Well, I am saying just that!
As part of my rustic wedding range “Love Oak” I am offering personalised keyring wedding favours that also double up as place names. Simply place each guests personalised keyring at their seat, and they keep their trinket as a beautiful keepsake.
The innate colouration of the tree branch material complements all wedding colour schemes and adds a natural infusion to contemporary wedding styles as much as it blends well with more rustic or traditional wedding styles.
As I make each piece by hand this also offers flexibility in design and cost. Perhaps you want each table to have a different design with your guests names on the reverse of their corresponding image, or maybe you want to keep it as economic as possible and have names on one side and leave the reverse raw? Alternatively you may decide on a middle ground and choose to have one design across all tables with your guests names inscribed on the reverse? You can even combine your place name keyring favours with our rustic centerpieces and cake stands for the full rustic experience!
One of my recent orders has been a lovely example of how to get creative with place name wedding favours. In this order (photographed below) a client came to me and asked if I would design her 12 images, each representing the various trees in which her tables where named after (each table was named after a tree rather than simply numbered). For the main table she had selected Oak, and wanted larger more traditional place names. For her guests she wanted rustic keepsakes that corresponded with the tree that represented their table. I absolutely adore this idea (being a fan of trees, it was always going to be a favourite of mine!). Although I am still working on this order, these are the designs I have created and a selection of finished pieces:
It is always a delight to work with a couple to create the finishing touches of their special day. I would love to fill the rest of my year with wedding orders, what could be more lovely than using my creativity to contribute to someone’s big day?
